PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardware/software integral design system under the consideration of inter-hardware/software cooperation. SOLUTION: System design information 3 is visualized and displayed at a display device 1, and a hardware/software boundary designation processing program 22 is executed by an arithmetic unit 4, and the designation input of the boundary between the hardware region and the software region is accepted. A hardware description conversion program 23 is executed by the arithmetic unit 4 so that the system design information of the hardware region can be converted into hardware description. A software description conversion program 24 is executed by the arithmetic unit 4 so that the system design information of the software region can be converted into software description. A device driver generation program 25 is executed by the arithmetic unit 4 so that a device driver can be generated.
