PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability unique to a television receiver with a built-in hard-disk-recorder. SOLUTION: A tuner 2 is mainly for viewing and a tuner 2 is mainly for recording. A hard-disk-recorder 111 has a recycle type recording means which records the video signal outputted from the tuner 3 on a re-cyclic basis for a specific time. A control part 5 normally switches over the channel of the tuner 3 in association with the channel switching of the tuner 2. When a fixation key 125 is pressed, the control part 5 fixes the channel of the tuner 3 to a specific channel irrelevantly to the channel switching of the tuner 2.
