OPTICAL BLOCK DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND OPTICAL DEVICE EMPLOYING THE OPTICAL BLOCK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize adhesion of an optical device and an optical element with a shorter interval between them without deteriorating the optical performance. SOLUTION: A guard block 15 is made of a flexible material to adhere the optical device 12 to the optical element 11 by using adhesive 13 while shortening the interval between the optical device 12 and the optical element 11. The guard block 15 prevents the adhesive 13 from entering a valid area 14 of the optical device 12 to suppress deterioration in the optical performance of the optical block due to dust in air which is estimated to be intruded to the adhesive 13. Narrowing the interval between the optical device 12 and the optical element 11 can contribute miniaturizing of the optical block comprising the optical device 12 and the optical element 11, and miniaturizing of an optical device with the optical bock incorporated in its optical system.
