METHOD OF ESTIMATION OF CRACK-RESISTANCE OF MATERIALS

摘要

FIELD: measurement technology; methods of study of rupture of friable materials at equilibrium tests of concrete specimens by three-point scheme. SUBSTANCE: method includes placing several strain gages on specimen under test in way of development of crack; said strain gages are connected to electric converter whose signals indicate development of crack. Strain gages are located at some distance relative to one another and are secured on foil substrates; ultimate rupture strength of foil exceeds that of material under test. Strain gages are connected to high-speed oscillograph whose signals indicate time of growth of crack and velocity of its propagation. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements. 2 dwg
