PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet settlement system capable of preventing leakage of personal information and preventing receipt of merchandise by an impersonated third party in the case of delivery of the merchandise. SOLUTION: This settlement system of Internet transactions to be performed by using a portable telephone is characterized by including a step to ask for confirmation instruction of a purchaser by transmitting settlement information to a settlement facility 6 by a cyber mall 4 when the purchaser 1M specifies and purchases the merchandise at the cyber mall 4 on the Internet, a step in which the settlement facility asked for the confirmation instruction communicates the portable telephone of the purchaser himself/herself by transmitting a mail through a portable telephone line, a step in which the purchaser himself/herself who receives the mail returns purchase confirmation through the portable telephone line and a step in which portable telephone financial service 7 of a banking facility with which the purchaser preliminarily performs transactions performs a payment processing of a price to the cyber mall by receiving the purchase confirmation from the settlement facility.
