Both parts (1,2) of the hollow cylinder serving as play compensator are mutually sealed and the valve (5) presents the only outward connection from the pressure space (4). The valve is closed off at space overpressure and in all other pressure gradients allows small-order leakage through it. Both parts are loaded towards an increase in pressure space volume. The supply space remains closed against outward connection within play element but can be modified by an adjuster wall in one of two parts, the wall in turn loaded towards reduction in space volume, specifically by an inbuilt coil spring. Ring seals are used throughout and the movable seal of the valve is left incompletely closed by a spring in the event of any pressure gradient on the valve.
