At the base (23) of the adapter (1), the recess (5) construction is relatively sturdy. Around the recess (I-III) is a strong layer (20I-20III) with ridges (19) emerging from it. Along the two longer sides of the rectangular recess, ridge density is less than that in a region (II) bordering its transverse side (13). This side (13) is closer to the axis (R) than the opposite transverse side (9). Ridge height and adapter thickness are everywhere uniform. Ridges intersect at right angles and run parallel or at right angles to the sides. They face away from the visible side which includes the recess. Regions of differing ridge density are delimited by extensions of rectangle sides. The adjustable region is circular and forms the base of a recess (25) in the adapter. It is located in region (II) of the adapter. An Independent claim is included for the injection molding tool forming the adapter. This includes an adjustable region, to produce differing thicknesses in one region.
