<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone rental system that can readily be utilized by users. SOLUTION: A user concludes a contract with an fixed amount charge depending on a rental mode at a contract window, pays the contracted fixed amount charge, receives a mobile phone at a rental window, and returns the mobile phone to a return window without clearing. Further, the system is provided with a server, a storage device, a terminal and a mobile phone, and the storage device stores contract information including number of available call units corresponding to contract information identification information. Upon the receipt of a contract information request signal from the terminal, the server transmits the contract information corresponding to the contract information identification information to the terminal. The terminal receives the contract information identification information and makes a reception operation of the contract information, the terminal transmits a contract information request signal to the server to receive the contract information and transmits the contract information to the mobile phone when a transfer operation is made. When receiving the contract information from the terminal, the mobile phone sets number of available call units included in the received contract information.</p> |
