PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize devices on the network by reducing device utilization restrictions in a system for enabling substitute printing using devices of different ability. SOLUTION: In this printing system comprising plural printers, printing data and printing instructions concerning printing control to the printing data are inputted, and a job ticket forming part 102 forms a job ticket based on the printing instructions. A printing information control part 103 directly generates instructions for partially changing instruction contents by the job ticket by a direct instruction forming part 104 when the printer selected from among the plural printers executes a process demanded by instruction information. A printing server 13 uses the selected printer to execute printing of the printing data in accordance with the job ticket and the direct instructions.
