PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone terminal that can utilize the positioning system while maintaining a line. SOLUTION: A system processing section 16 of a GPS mount mobile phone terminal 1 temporarily interrupts communication through a wireless channel during line connection by a call control layer of a mobile phone use wireless section 15 in response to a positioning request from a control section 21. Then a GPS wireless section 12 and a GPS decoding section 13 receive a GPS satellite signal, transmit the obtained positioning data to a GPS server 10 of the positioning system through a mobile phone network and the Internet or the like as required by using the mobile phone use wireless section 15. Various position information services are utilized on the basis of the data.
