PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method and an optical information recording medium, which can reduce the influence upon a recording clock caused by a crosstalk between adjacent tracks by reducing the correlation of address information between the adjacent track, further, in which the application of a wobble signal to a crosstalk canceler is enabled and which can rightly reproduce address information. SOLUTION: In the information recording method for recording data to be recorded while controlling the correlation between first and second data streams contained in the recording data, this method is provided with a step for selecting the inversion/non-inversion of the first data stream to reduce the correlation between the first and second data streams and a step for recording the first data stream according to the selected inversion/non-inversion and recording a control code indicating the selected inversion/non-inversion concerning the first data stream.
