Jamming-detection device and use in a sliding roof

The sealing structure is fitted to remote controlled doors which may be used in sliding roofs and a public transport vehicle, e.g. a bus or a tram. It also has a switch function which is used to indicate a complete closure action when the doors are being closed. The sealing structure incorporates a closure (8) with a polyurethane (PU) foam mantle and a seal member (14) which also acts as a switch function to trip a switch (10) in the PU foam material (7). The seal is structured so that, when the moving doors bear against each other at a force transfer zone (5), they are set in an optimal position over the switches (10).
