PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container and an item transporting method in which a lifetime of use can be extended, its cost reduction can be attained and an amount of its waste can be reduced. SOLUTION: A hard laminated board 11 having a larger value than a metered weight value of a reinforced cardboard 10 is adhered to an outer surface and an end surface of the reinforced cardboard 10. Or the outer surface and the end surface of the reinforced cardboard are constituted by the hard laminated board having the metered weight value of an inner surface member of the reinforced cardboard, while the main member of the sleeve is being applied as a reinforced cardboard.
