PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a wide opening of a newly built sash frame to improve lighting effect. SOLUTION: This remodeling sash 12 has a newly built sash frame 13 of a semi-exterior settling type, which is fitted to a sash frame 4 of an existing sash 3 fritted to an opening part 2 of a building. The existing sash frame 4 has an outside rail support part 10a and an inside rail support part 10b higher than the outside rail support part 10a at a lower frame 4b. A lower frame 13b of the newly built sash frame 13 has a fitting fin 15 in the outer periphery of the substantially middle part in the direction toward the interior and the exterior. The interior side part from the fitting fin 15 of the newly built sash frame 13 is mounted directly or indirectly through a fitting member 16 on the outer rail support part 10a of the lower frame 4b of the existing sash frame 4.
