PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene resin composition for a biaxially oriented film excellent in thermostability and an application attitude of an addition reaction type silicon mold-releasing agent. SOLUTION: This polypropylene resin composition for the oriented film comprises a polypropylene resin the melt flow rate (MFR) of which is 0.5-10.0 g/min, a lactonic antioxidant C and a phenolic antioxidant A represented by formula (1) (wherein R<1> and R<2> are each a 1-10C alkyl group, R<3> is a 1-10C alkylene group, and R<4> is a 1-30C alkyl group) and the compounding quantities of the antioxidants to the polypropylene resin satisfy the following equations: (1) 100<=A<=4,600 (ppm); (2) 10<=C<=300 (ppm) and (3) 0.075A+C<=550 (ppm).
