PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating composition which can satisfy both of scratching resistance with restoring property of scratch and other coating film performance such as hardness of coating film, etc. SOLUTION: This polymer comprises (a) a polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid ester containing an alicyclic, to which two hydroxy groups are bonded in one molecule, such as 2,4-dihydroxyhexylmethyl (meth)acrylate and (b) another polymerizable unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with the monomer (a). This coating composition comprises the copolymer and a polyisocyanate composition which may be blocked.
