PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning, bleaching and bactericidal material for oral hygiene and dental prosthesis; a cleaning method; and a method for producing the material. SOLUTION: The cleaning, bleaching and bactericidal material comprises a photocatalytical function-having titanium dioxide or the titanium dioxide to which a compound consisting of one or more photoactivity (photooxidative function)-having Ax (BOy )z X is partly adhered, and an acid such as phosphoric acid and pyrophosphoric acid. The method comprises using the material. The method for producing the material comprises using the powder or the aqueous sol solution of a composite material as titanium dioxide, wherein the composite material can be obtained by dipping titanium dioxide in a pseudo-body fluid to deposit a calcium phosphate crystal on the surface, the calcium phosphate having a weight ratio of 0.001%-50% relative to the titanium dioxide; using a sol solution of phosphoric acid or pyrophosphoric acid; and mixing the above components at a temperature of 25 deg.C or more.
