PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seated person determination system that can reliably discriminate between a case of firm tightening of a child seat and seating of an adult by means of a load sensor. SOLUTION: In order to prevent an occupant crash protection means such as an air bag from being driven in an undesirable manner if a load detecting means 2 erroneously determines adult seating while a child seat is firmly tightened on a seat 1 with a seat belt, in addition to the load detecting means 2, an erroneous detection correcting signal detecting means 3 is added to correct an erroneous signal of the load detecting means 2 (a signal of an erroneous determination mistaking an adult for a child on the child seat).
