PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-beam scanning device for an image forming device which has relatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: The multi-beam scanning device comprises a light source unit 18 which comprises two laser arrays 11a and 11b, two coupling lenses 12a and 12b coupling laser beams emitted from the laser arrays respectively, and a holding member 21 holding the laser arrays and coupling lenses integrally and is held rotatably almost on the optical axis of the laser beams and scanning optical systems 13, 14, and 15 which deflect the laser beams emitted from the light source unit and images the deflected laser beams on a scanned surface 16a.
