PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consecutively change the elevation of stroboscope zoom corresponding to the angle of view of a zoom lens with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This zoom controller is provided with a volume whose resistance is changed with the movement of a head sub-assembly for changing the elevation of the stroboscopic zoom, and the change of the resistance of the volume is fetched as the change of voltage, then the moving position of the head sub-assembly is consecutively detected according to the voltage value. Thus, the elevation of the stroboscope zoom is consecutively changed corresponding to the angle of view of the zoom lens so as to move the head sub-assembly to an optimum position with respect to the angle of view, thereby, the elevation of the stroboscope zoom is optimally set.
