PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface treatment equipment using a barrel with which a collision between works and the resultant formation of dents in the works can be prevented when, e.g. a plurality of treatments, such as wet blasting treatment and chemical conversion treatment, are performed in a state where the works are held in a barrel and these works are removed from the barrel of the preceding step into another barrel of the following step at the treatment in the following step. SOLUTION: When treatment in one step is finished, a barrel 2-1 holding works 1 is moved and transferred to the following step, where a barrel 2-2 is waiting in a state where it is immersed in a solution 6. The barrel 2-1 of the preceding step is tilted with its opening directed downward, and the works 1 in the barrel of the preceding step are allowed to slide on a chute 4-1 and fall down scatteringly. The fallen works land on the solution 6, sink and are held within the barrel 2-2 in the solution 6. Although the works 1 enter the barrel in succession, their motion become slow because they immediately enter the solution. Accordingly, even if the works collide with each other, formation of dents can be prevented. |
