PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brassiere causing no biting or having difference in level at the back panel thereof so as to give a wearer a beautiful silhouette seen from behind, not bounded by materials or design, and made so that wearing pressure on the area ranging from the side to the back is reduced when worn. SOLUTION: The brassiere comprises a pair of right and left cups, a center supporting fabric connecting these two cups, a pair of right and left back panels each extending in the lateral direction from the right and left end parts of the cup, and the right and left two shoulder strings; wherein the width (L) from the part connecting the back panel and the shoulder string, to the bottom side part of the back panel is longer than the width (1) from the upper end point of the joining part where the cup part and the back panel of the cup side part are joined to each other, to the bottom side part of the back panel.
