PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to reduce power consumption by reducing the area of the dielectric layer formed on the rear substrate, while forming barrier ribs in a stable and firm manner. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a front substrate on which a plurality of first electrodes are arranged in parallel with each other; a rear substrate(20) spaced apart from the front substrate, and on which a plurality of second electrodes(22) are arranged in such a manner that the second electrodes cross the first electrodes; barrier ribs(21) arranged between the front substrate and the rear substrate, and which define the discharge space; discharge cells formed at the crossing points of the first electrodes and second electrodes; and a dielectric layer(24) formed on the second electrodes of the rear substrate. The electric layer is not formed at the boundary between discharge cells. |
