PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where suppression of an offset and a paper crease caused by dirt at a heating member and pressurizing member of a fixing device, reduction of the waiting time of a copy user and energy saving are realized simultaneously. SOLUTION: The device has three temperature set values of a fixing temperature TT in the case of image forming, a temperature TS during device stand-by and a temperature TK for permitting paper feeding, the relation among them is TS<TK<TT, and the timing of switching to the temperature is (1). Switching from TT to TS is performed based on outputting of a paper ejection signal from a paper ejection sensor (2). Switching from TS to TK for permitting paper feeding is performed based on inputting of a print signal, a FAX reception signal or a copy start button on signal to the image forming device or detection of setting of an original to an original mounting part (3). Switching from TK for permitting paper feeding to TT is performed based on outputting of a paper feeding signal from the paper feeding sensor. |
