PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia-gas-concentration sensor by which the concentration of ammonia gas can be measured quickly and precisely. SOLUTION: The ammonia-gas-concentration measuring apparatus which measures the concentration of the ammonia gas is provided with a solid electrolyte body which comprises oxygen ion conductivity, a reference electrode which is formed on one face of the solid electrolyte body and which comes into contact with a reference gas, a detecting electrode which is formed on the other face of the solid electrolyte body and which contains a noble metal or a metallic oxide, a Pd catalyst layer which is formed on the surface of the detecting electrode and which contains Pd, and a heater element which heats the solid electrolyte body. |
