PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main shaft device which can maintain stable rotational performance of a shaft by ensuring good lubricating performance, can reduce noise and can save driving energy of a shaft, even in the case of generating a high speed. SOLUTION: Lubrication of a rolling bearing 5 rotatably supporting a shaft 3 of a main shaft device 100 is performed by directly injecting a fine amount of lubricating oil from a lubricating oil nozzle 13 mounted in a housing 7, simultaneously formed with a base end side lubricating oil route 13b and a tip end side lubricating oil route 13c in the lubricating oil nozzle 13 so as to make suction of lubricating oil caused by a flow of air due to rotation of the shaft 3 less than a delivery amount of one shot.
