PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus by which an image with high quality of the image and high stability can be formed. SOLUTION: A layer 20 comprising a specified substance is formed on a body 21, the image 22 is formed on the layer 20 formed on the body 21, and the layer 20 on which the image 22 is formed is transferred on a recording body 23 from the body 21. A means 12 for forming the image comprises a nozzle head having an ink room storing an ink or making it as a separated body and a nozzle driving part for flying the ink as ink drops from the nozzle head to the layer 20.
