PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air cleaner which can be installed readily and stably in a desired installation state. SOLUTION: In an air cleaner where air sucked into the body case 1 from a suction opening 8 by driving a fan 4 is purified through a filter 2 and delivered from a exhaust opening 23 to the outside of the body case 1, the body case 1 comprises a rectangular prism filter section 3 internally disposed with the filter 2, and an air supply section 5 internally disposed with the fan 4 wherein the filter section 3 can be fixed selectively to the air supply section 5 in longitudinal or lateral state. The air cleaner can be installed in longitudinal or lateral state and the installation state can be diversified and since a relatively heavy fan is not disposed at the filter section, the filter section can be reduced in weight and handled easily and thereby the assembling work can be facilitated. |
