摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of raising temperature of an oxidation catalyst without deteriorating fuel consumption and efficiently afterburning soot of a particulate filter. SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device is furnished with the oxidation catalyst 43, the particulate filter 44 on which the soot is accumulated and a temperature sensor 53 to detect exhaust gas temperature on the upstream side of the filter 44. An EGR valve 23 for circulating exhaust gas in a suction system 13 is provided on the suction system 13 of an engine 10. Injection time of fuel to be injected at the last stage of a compression stroke of the engine 10 is delayed when it is detected that the oxidation catalyst 43 is lower than the active temperature when reactivating the particulate filter 44, and EGR gas circulating quantity is increased to raise the temperature of the oxidation catalyst 43.
