PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a waste liquid crystal film formerly disposed of for landfill without being recycled to be used as an irregularly reflective material; an irregularly reflective coating treatment method utilizing the irregularly reflective characteristics; and an irregularly reflective coating material or irregular reflector for various uses. SOLUTION: This irregularly reflective coating treatment method, for realizing irregular reflection effects, comprises coating the surface of an irregular reflection base material attempted to realize irregular reflection effects with a synthetic resin material with a specified thickness, uniformly scattering thereon debris of a waste liquid crystal film with a size of 0.05-3 mm, pressing the surface with a roller or the like, drying the surface, treating it with a brush to expose the glossy surface of the liquid crystal film, and conducting the finish coating with a synthetic resin material with a transparent color. The debris of a waste liquid crystal film is mixed with a transparent coating composition to give an irregularly reflective coating material. An irregular reflector is obtained by solidifying and molding a mixture of waste liquid crystal film debris and a transparent-colored synthetic resin material.
