PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray sensor unit wherein the positional setting and the handling are easy when a small imaging element is positioned at a desired location in the human body, a breakage failure does not occur, and the durability is excellent. SOLUTION: This X-ray sensor unit 6 has a small shape which can be fitted in the human body such as the oral cavity. The X-ray sensor unit is equipped with the imaging element 1, an image processing means, a cordless inputting/ outputting means, and a battery (housed in a holder 6a). In this case, the imaging element 1 detects X-rays. The image processing means performs a specified image processing regarding a detection signal of the imaging element 1. The cordless inputting/outputting means exchanges with the outside regarding the data which has been image-processed by the image processing means. The battery becomes the power source for the imaging element, the image processing means and the cordless inputting/outputting means.
