PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching member of a ball transfer pipe enabling the ball transfer pipe to be easily attached and removed. SOLUTION: The attaching member comprises a cylindrical member 1 capable of increasing or decreasing in diameter, with an end portion divided into a plurality of locking pieces 4 by splitting grooves 3a and 3b, and an axially slidable annular tightening member 2 fitted over the cylindrical member 1. A locking rib 5 for the tightening member 2 fitted over the cylindrical member is provided on the outer edge of the end portion of the cylindrical member 1 and a locking pawl 7 for clamping the ball transfer pipe is provided on the inner edge of the end portion. The ball transfer pipe is clamped by the locking pawl 7. Further, an annular recessed groove part 6 is provided adjacent to the locking rib 5 and a positioning protrusion 22 provided inside the tightening member 2 is fitted into the recessed groove part 6 to prevent the axial sliding movement of the tightening member 2 after the ball transfer pipe is attached.
