<p>Information layers (2, 3) each have a sector structure in which data area (8, 12) is divided circumferentially by sector address (9, 13), and the positions of the corresponding sector addresses (9, 13) are coincident angularly in the information layers (2, 3). Errors during reproduction due to the effects of other information layers, or the recording characteristics, can be stabilized, resulting in an increased recording capacity of a rewritable medium comprising a plurality of sectored information layers.</p> |
