PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent heat loss of a catalyst layer by preventing the flight of unburned materials in an exhaust gas to the catalyst layer. SOLUTION: A bypath pipe 102 for bypassing a catalyst layer 52 is provided. The amount of the unburned materials in the exhaust gas is measured by an LIBS instrument 108, and when the amount of the unburned materials becomes higher than a predetermined value, the bypath pipe 102 is opened. Thereby, the flight of unburned materials to the catalyst layer 52 is prevented, and the heat loss of the catalyst layer 52 is inhibited. |
