METHOD OF DECOMPOSING AND REMOVING DIOXINS IN SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiency decomposing and removing dioxins in soil utilizing microorganisms, particularly a simple method of decomposing and removing efficient by the dioxins in the soil. SOLUTION: The microorganisms belonging to Acremonium genus capable of decomposing the dioxins are separated from the inside of the soil and a finding is made that these microorganisms are effective in the decomposition of the dioxins in the soil contaminated by the dioxins. Further, an investigation and study are made relating to various conditions in the decomposition treatment of the dioxins contaminants by using the microorganism having the decomposability of the dioxins. As a result thereof, a finding is made that the method of managing the moisture and temperature of the soil and adding the microorganisms significantly affects the decomposition thereof and the effective treatment method thereof is built.
