MIDSOLE HAVING BUFFER STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a buffer property by shearing deformation by providing a novel structure of soles. SOLUTION: A midsole has thick planar or columnar buffer sections 1R and 1L. A plurality of grooves 11 are formed on outer peripheral surface 10 of the buffer sections 1R and 1L. The respective grooves 11 are spirally formed round an approximately perpendicular axis V. The groove 11 are arranged to each other approximately in parallel. The rangeαwhere the grooves 11 are formed in greater than the range of 15 deg. around the axis V and is smaller than the range of 180 deg. around the axis V.
