PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system for a game machine capable of enhancing the quality of sounds produced by the speaker device of the game machine, without hindering maintenance work on the back of the game machine. SOLUTION: In the game machine, enclosures E1 and E2 are provided as speaker compartments at positions below the installed position of an intermediate frame in an outer frame 11 which is relatively unlimited in space in relation to other game machine members, and mid and high range speakers 23 and 25 are disposed in the respective enclosures E1 and E2. A bass reflex duct 27 leading to a sound output port serving as a bass reflex port is formed in the enclosure E2 to constitute a bass reflex speaker. Thus, large speakers with wide bass reproduction ranges can be employed as the speakers 23 and 25 without hindering maintenance on the back of the machine.
