Tractor which is connected (2) to a trailer (1) and which can be used to calibrate the depth to which the front part of a large drag screen (4) is inserted into the earth (9), said screen taking the form of a mesh drum (4.1) which is fixed using metallic hoops (4.2) and stiffeners (4.3). The inventive machine is provided with deflector blades (4.4) for separating and screening the earth using a combination of the forward motion of the trailer and the rotation of the screen in relation to lower side bearings (10) and front side bearings. In this way, the earth is screened and the larger stones and objects to be removed pass through the upper rear area.
