PURPOSE: Injectable formulations containing paclitaxel having an excellent anticancer effect, anhydrous ethanol, polyoxyl hydrogenated castor oil as a solubilizer and N-acetyl amino acid as a stabilizer are provided which ensure better medicinal efficacy than conventional injectable paclitaxel formulations and have enhanced stability at room temperature and low toxicity. CONSTITUTION: The injectable formulations contain 0.1 to 5.0% by weight of paclitaxel, 95 to 99.89% by weight of polyoxyl hydrogenated castor oil and anhydrous ethanol and 0.01 to 1.0% by weight of a stabilizer and have a pH of 8 or less. The volume ratio of the polyoxyl hydrogenated castor oil and anhydrous ethanol is 30:70 to 70:30. The stabilizer is selected from the group consisting of organic acid, polysorbate, ethanol amine, arginine, lysine and N-acetyl amino acid.
