PUBLIC NETWORK LOCATION REGISTRATION APPARATUS FOR PRIVATE WIRELESS SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A public network location registration apparatus for a private wireless system and a method therefor are provided to perform a public network location registration in a private wireless system in a network in which a mobile communication system interworks with the private wireless system. CONSTITUTION: If a message is received from a BTS(Base station Transceiver System), a message router checks whether the received message is an origination message transmitted from an MS(Mobile Station)(311). If the received message is the origination message, the message router analyzes the origination message and acquires subscriber information(313). The message router accesses a private network registration information table using acquired subscriber information and confirms various parameters of the MS(317). The message router decides whether public network location registration is performed as to the MS(319). If it is necessary for the public network location registration, the message router acquires information necessary for the public network location registration from the origination message and generates a public location registration message(321). The message router transmits the generated public network location registration message to a mobile communication system(323).
