PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telecontrol system that controls whiteware house appliance devices from a visit place and uses an electronic mail function with a simple operation and high security. SOLUTION: In the telecontrol system comprising an electronic mail transmission means 11 that transmits electronic mail to a prescribed opposite party, an electronic mail reception means 13 that receives the electronic mail from the electronic mail transmission means 11 and a device control means 14, the electronic mail transmission means 11 transmits an encrypted telegraphic message together with a message and the electronic mail reception means 13 analyzes message contents only when the encrypted telegraphic message is a prescribed telegraphic message.
