PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the color image forming apparatus which forms a good color image by suppressing the aggravation of a gradation image caused by rotational unevenness in the engagement of a driving gear train, by smoothly rotating a plurality of photoreceptor drums, thereby suppressing the effect of the rotational unevenness. SOLUTION: The color image forming apparatus is a tandem type color image forming apparatus, and has four photoreceptor drums (210). The apparatus directly drives gears (5, 6, 7, 8) provided on driving shafts (1, 2, 3, 4) of at least two photoreceptor drums (210) by using a gear (9a) provided on one driving motor (9). A fly wheel (13) is provided on the driving shaft (3) of one photoreceptor drum (210) directly driven by the gear (9a) provided on the driving motor (9), and a fly wheel is not provided on the other driving shaft (2). |
