<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network load distribution system and a packet switching device capable of contributing to the relaxing of the congestion of a whole network or the improvement of line use-efficiency, and guaranteeing service quality at the time of setting a path, and allowing a network to have scalability. SOLUTION: A load distribution threshold is set in queue of an input side packet buffer, and when packet storage volume reaches the load distribution threshold, a queue in the same type is added, and packets whose storage volume exceeds the threshold are queued to the added queue in order to prevent those packets from being abandoned. At the same time, a distributed route fluffing requested service quantity is calculated for the excessive flow, and a queue to be transferred to the distributed path is added to an output side packet buffer, and the prescribed quantity of the flow is header-updated to a transfer destination address corresponding to the distributed path so as to be queued. Thus, the load distributing processing is realized.</p> |
