PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for calculating a variation in balance between a commercial value and a price of an item before and after its revision as points and presenting the contents of service corresponding to the calculated points to a customer. SOLUTION: The variation of balance between the commercial value and the price of the item before and after its revision is calculated for a customer having purchased the item within a prescribed period prior to a price revision or a functional revision of the item (S200, S202) and the calculated points are registered in a Web server (S206). When the customer requests the Web server to output a page only for the customer through the Internet, the Web server accumulates points, displays the accumulated points on the page and displays the contents of service corresponding to the points such as a discount corresponding to the points in the price of the item. Consequently a customer's feeling of loss due to the price revision or the functional revision of the item can be wiped out.
