PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand elevation method for a lamp post with elevating stand which contributes to the equipment cost reduction while making the operation easy. SOLUTION: When the stand 3 of the lamp post A is elevated to the upper limit position, the stand is fixed by a locking device 19, and the other end of a stand side elevating wire 48 of which, one end is connected to the stand, and the other end is hung down inside the lamp post to the lower end part through fixed pulleys 15, is fastened to the inner surface of the lamp post. When pulling down the stand for the maintenance of the lamp post, firstly, a winch 5 is brought inside or near to the outside of the lamp post, and one end of a winch side elevation wire 49, wound to the winch, is jointed to the other end of the stand side elevation wire released from the state of being fastened to the inner surface of the lamp post, and the stand is pulled down by drawing out the winch side elevation wire from the winch after releasing the stand from locking device dependent fixed state. |
