PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can further save power by automatically varying wait time according to idle time. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus having an image forming means to form an image according to image data is provided with an idle time measuring means to measure unused idle time, an average idle time calculation means to compute average idle time from the idle time measured by the idle time measuring means, and an average idle time storage means to store the average idle time computed by the average idle time calculation means. |
