PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect the position of an object and to display telop (name of object, character string of explanatory note, etc., and explanatory illustration) in a screen in accordance with movement of the object. SOLUTION: This telop device is provided with a camera for object photographing for photographing the object, an object position detecting means for detecting the position of the object, and a telop displaying means for displaying telop in a camera image in accordance with the movement of the position of the object detected by the object position detecting means.
