PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image deterioration by a joint and also to prevent image from deteriorating due to irregularities of pitches between respective light receiving parts. SOLUTION: An imaging device has a plurality of pixels that respectively include photoelectric conversion parts and pixel circuit parts for processing a signal of the photoelectric conversion part and outputting the signal to an output line, and a scanning circuit arranged between the pixels and the pixels. An area where the plurality of pixels are arranged includes an area where the pixel circuit parts included respectively in two adjacent pixels are arranged so as to face each other, and an area where the photoelectric conversion parts included respectively in the two adjacent pixels are arranged so as to face each other.
