The high pressure jet (1), to remove the spinal cord and its skin from the carcass of a slaughtered animal, is a rigid jet with its shaft (2) and sleeve (3) firmly bonded to the pressure hose (4). The front jet (5) and trailing jets (6) are at an angle to the jet axis. The shrouding hose (7) is clamped to the drive (8), while the pressure hose is screwed (9) to the rotary section (10) of the rotary transmission. The fixed section (11) of the transmission is secured to the drive housing (13), and the housing has the screw connection (14) for the supply hose (15). The cogwheel (16) at the rotary section of the transmission is driven by the meshed cogwheel (17) of the motor (18).
