PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with various applications by one signal processing device. SOLUTION: A connector 101 connects a power supply line, a driving pulse signal P, a pair of detection signals A, A+B, a readout signal i, discrimination data j to a displacement sensor type detection part, and can be connected to a floodlight part and a light receiving part of a transmitted light quantity type detection part through this branch connector. In the displacement sensor type detection part, a ROM for holding the discrimination data j is integrated, and when the discrimination data j are transmitted from the detection part by transmission of the readout signal i, a CPU 15 executes measurement processing using the pair of detection signals A, A+B. On the other hand, when the discrimination data j are not transmitted, measurement processing for a transmission type sensor is executed by using only the detection signal on one side. |
